Hotel Comendador sets out to honour the name and prestige os 'Comendador' João Ferreira dos Santos, a distinguished son of the town of Bombarral, who, through his spirit of entreprise, his energy and his tenacity, earned the title granted to him. Although he owned the biggest agricultural, commercial and industrial undertaking in Mozambique, he never forgot his home town or the poorest of those he had left behind. Thus inspired by this man and his commendation, our hotel has adopted its current name as a symbol incorporating all forcefulness, dynamism, solidity and trust that a distinction of this nature deserves. Accordingly, Hotel Comendador strives to make the same commitments to its clients and to live up its name.
